LV: Alise Mediņa “Izbaudīt mirkli” [Tūre ar kuratoru pēc pieprasījuma]

No 1. – 30. Septembrim galerijas “Bazar’t” telpās t/c “Mols” otrajā stāvā, norisināsies gleznotājas Alises Mediņas darbu izstāde “Izbaudīt mirkli”.

Alise ir gleznotājas, kura savā radošajā darbībā paliek uzticīga tradicionālajām vērtībām – reālistiskai eļļas glezniecībai. Tomēr gleznas ir laikmetīgas, tvertas šī laikmeta cilvēka pasaules izjūtā.

Mākslinieces radošā darbība ir ļoti plaša un aktīva. Viņa, paralēli ražīgai gleznošanai, organizē un piedalās izstādēs, pasniedz gleznošanas apmācību, apmeklē dažādus mākslas plenērus.

Izstāde “Izbaudīt mirkli”, kā jau septembrim pienākas, būs saistīta ar atgriešanos pilsētā. Alise meistarīgi glezno ne tikai saules pielietus pagalmus, bet arī ataino brīnišķīgus lietus atspulgus Rīgas ielās. Raiņa bulvāris, parks pie operas, Bastejkalns nakts tumsā un spuldzīšu gaismā, iela pie Nacionālā teātra – ir gleznas, kurās var nolasīt konkrētas vietas, bet pamatā tajās Rīga tomēr ir vairāk noslēpumaina, tēlains vispārinājums, kas rada noskaņu. “Es gan esmu visu dzīvi Rīgā dzīvojusi, bet kaut kur nepazūd tā sajūta, it kā es būtu tūrists. Tāda mazliet sajūsma, kad tu ej un domā – jā, bet tiešām tik skaisti! Man patīk. Es uzskatu, ka vēl pavisam nav uzgleznota šī pilsēta", saka Alise.

Par gleznu tapšanu autore stāsta: “Gatavošanās izstādei bija vairāk kā atgriešanās brīžos, kuri ir kādā veidā aizkustinājuši, likuši apstāties un vērot. Ir skaidrs, ka tas mirklis paiet, tajā nav iespējams atgriezties, bet to var iemūžināt, apturēt gleznā. Un tie ir bijuši gleznas vērti mirkļi.”

Alise Mediņa apguvusi dažādas studiju programmas, to starpā glezniecības un keramikas mākslas kursu un papildinājusi savas zināšanas Porto Uni-versitātes mākslas nodaļā apmaiņas programmas ietvaros. Turpinot savu profesionālo izaugsmi Latvijas Mākslas akadēmijā, Alise Mediņa ieguvusi divus maģistra grādus – glezniecībā (2010) un keramikā (2019).

ENG: Alise Mediņa "Enjoy the moment" [Curator’s Tour on demand] 

From September 1st to 30th, in the premises of "Bazar't" gallery on the second floor of "Mols" mall, the exhibition of works by painter Alice Mediņa "Enjoy the moment" will take place.

Alice is a painter who remains faithful to traditional values in her creative work - realistic oil painting. However, the paintings are contemporary, captured in the sense of the human world of that era.

The artist's creative activity is very broad and active. In addition to her prolific painting, she organizes and participates in exhibitions, teaches painting, attends various art plein airs.

The "Enjoy the Moment" exhibition, as befits September, will be associated with the return to the city. Alice skillfully paints not only sunlit courtyards, but also depicts wonderful reflections of rain in the streets of Riga. Raina's boulevard, the park near the opera house, Bastejkalns in the dark of night and in the light of light bulbs, the street near the National Theater - there are paintings in which you can read specific places, but in them Riga is more of a mysterious, imaginative generalization that creates a mood. "I have lived in Riga all my life, but the feeling that I am a tourist does not disappear somewhere. Such a little excitement when you go and think - yes, but really so beautiful! I like. I believe that this city has not been painted yet", says Alice.

About the creation of the paintings, the author says: "Preparing for the exhibition was more like returning to moments that have moved you in some way, made you stop and observe. It is clear that that moment passes, it is impossible to return to it, but it can be immortalized, stopped in a painting. And they have been moments worth painting.”

Alise Mediņa studied various study programs, among them painting and ceramic art courses, and supplemented her knowledge at the art department of the University of Porto as part of the exchange program. Continuing her professional development at the Latvian Academy of Arts, Alise Mediņa obtained two master's degrees - in painting (2010) and ceramics (2019).
