LV: Evija Freidenfelde “Tumšās ontoloģijas I”

Tāpat kā melnie caurumi kosmosā tiecas izplesties un iesūkt sevī Visumu, bailes, kas iemājo prātā, var pilnībā pārņemt cilvēku un graut personību.

Izstādē “ Tumšās ontoloģijas I ” māksliniece reflektē par nosacīti vieglāko baiļu emocionālo gammu – iracionālajām bailēm. Mākslas praksē balstītā pētījuma gaitā māksliniece ir atradusi materiālu un formu, kā vizualizēt emocijas, kas bijušas cilvēces sabiedrotais kopš tās rašanās brīža.  Nosacīti pieskarties savām bailēm, saprast bailes un tās nenoliegt ir paņēmieni, kā mazināt baiļu izraisītās sekas un nepiešķirt šai emocijai dominējošu un nenovēršamu nozīmi. Skatītājiem tiek piedāvāti grafikas tehnikās veidoti darbi un  instalācija.

Evija Freidenfelde ir pabeigusi Latvijas Mākslas akadēmijas grafikas nodaļu, šobrīd turpina studijas Latvijas Mākslas akadēmijas maģistrantūrā. Pirms tam ieguvusi maģistra grādus bioloģijā un jurisprudencē Latvijas Universitātē. Izstādēs piedalās kopš 2011. gada.  

ENG: Evie Freudenfeld "Dark Ontologies I"

Just as black holes in space tend to expand and absorb the universe, the fear that enters the mind can completely overwhelm a person and destroy the personality.

In the exhibition "Dark Ontologies I", the artist reflects on the relatively lightest emotional range of fear - irrational fear. In the course of research based on art practice, the artist has found the material and form to visualize emotions that have been humanity's ally since its inception. Conditionally touching your fear, understanding fear and not denying it are ways to reduce the consequences caused by fear and not to give this emotion a dominant and inevitable meaning. The viewers are offered works and installations made in graphic techniques.

Evija Freidenfelde graduated from the graphic arts department of the Latvian Academy of Arts, and is currently continuing her studies at the Latvian Academy of Arts' master's degree. Before that, she obtained master's degrees in biology and jurisprudence at the University of Latvia. Participates in exhibitions since 2011.
