"Līgas Ķempes izstāde “Karaļvalstība” galerijā “Bazar’t”, tirdzniecības centra “Mols” otrajā stāvā būs apskatāma no 1. līdz 31.martam. Gleznotājas uz audekla uzburtā pasaule meklējama kosmosa dzīlēs. Tajā valda godīgums un futbola stadiona likumi. “Futbolā viss ir pēc noteikumiem, bet pat tos ievērojot, iespējamas improvizācijas, bezgalīgas kombinācijas. 

Tas ir interesanti, jo nekas neatkārtojas, futbols ir bezgalīgs. Tāpat kā glezniecība,” pārliecināta ir Līga Ķempe. 

Šī būs gleznotājas personiskākā izstāde. Uz audekliem radītajā “karaļvalstībā”  gleznotāja  vienlaicīgi mīlestībā atzīstas abām savas dzīves kaislībām - mākslai un futbolam: “Es esmu ļoti sens šīs karalistes pavalstnieks. Man ota rokās ir kopš sevi atceros, bet futbola priekus baudu spēlējot, skatoties un nu jau dažus gadus arī tiesājot. Un kas tur ko brīnīties, ka visa šī karaliskā futbola tēma un sportiskie elementi iekapj arī manos audeklos.” 

Izstādes centrālais darbs ir glezna “Mirklis starp bezgalību un mūžību”. Lai gan gleznā apvienoti līdz šim ierastie Līgas Ķempes izmantotie tēli – vilcieni, mājas, tilti, pats darbs atklāj mākslinieces izaugsmi: “Izmaiņas ir. Tās notiek pat negribot. Prāts mīcās uz vietas, bet dvēsele iet uz priekšu.” Uz audekla uzburtajās pasaulēs ir mazinājušies kontrasti un atklājušās citas dzīves vērtības. Gleznotāja apzinās, ka laikam ejot uz priekšu vērtības palīdz ieraudzīt satiktie cilvēki: “Šobrīd cilvēki ar ko es kontaktējos ir tie dimantiņi, pērlītes, ko dzīves laikā esmu salasījusi. Viņi iedvesmo.”

Līgas Ķempes stilu raksturo plakana glezniecība apvienojumā ar plastisku formu, rotaļas ar klasiskām metodēm un tehnikām – slāņojumiem, skrāpējumiem, špaktelējumiem un glazējumumiem."

The "Kingdom" exhibition of Līga Ķempe will be on display in the "Bazar't" gallery on the second floor of the "Mols" shopping center from March 1 to 31.The world conjured by the painter on the canvas can be found in the depths of space. It is governed by fairness and the rules of the football stadium. "In football, everything is according to the rules, but even following them, improvisations and endless combinations are possible. It's interesting because nothing repeats itself, football is endless. Like painting,” says Liga.

This will be the painter's most personal exhibition. In the "kingdom" created on the canvases, the painter simultaneously confesses her love for the two passions of her life - art and football: "I am a very old citizen of this kingdom. I have had a brush in my hands since I can remember, but I enjoy the joys of football by playing, watching and for a few years now also refereeing. And what is there to be surprised that this whole theme of royal football and sports elements also find their way into my canvases." 

The central work of the exhibition is the painting "A moment between infinity and eternity". Although the painting combines the usual images used by Līga Ķempe – trains, houses, bridges, the work itself reveals the growth of the artist: “There are changes. They happen even unintentionally. The mind stagnates, but the soul moves forward." In the worlds conjured up on the canvas, contrasts have diminished and other values of life have been revealed. The painter is aware that as time goes on, the people she meets help her to see values: "Right now, the people I am in contact with are the diamonds and pearls that I have picked up during my life. They inspire.”

The style of Ligas Ķempe is characterized by flat painting combined with a plastic form, playing with classical methods and techniques - layering, scratching, puttying and glazing.

On 30.03.23 the exhibition will be open until 21.00.
