No 8. līdz 30. septembrim Kalnciema kvartāla galerijā būs skatāma mākslinieces Alises Rudēvicas izstāde “pa īstam Absolūti Neticami”. Apvienojot analogo fotogrāfiju ar dažādām grafikas tehnikām un ilustrāciju, Alise savos darbos pievēršas cilvēku emocionālajai pieredzei un veido vizuālas liecības no atmiņu, notikumu un dažādu laiku vēstošiem elementiem.

From September 8 to 30, the Kalnciema Quarter gallery will host an exhibition of the artist Alise Rudēvica "Really Absolutely Unbelievable". By combining analog photography with various graphic techniques and illustration, Alise focuses on the emotional experience of people in her works and creates visual evidence from memories, events and elements that tell of different times.

The series of works under consideration is made in the photopolymer technique, including the installation. The performative and scenic aspects are essential in the works. Attention is drawn to the breadth of gender identity, the experience of diversity and its associative expression. Striving for a more authentic and fluid representation of the expression of gender, the artist creates a multi-layered impression effect.
