LV: Sandra Strēle “ NOZUDUŠIE II”

Instalācija veidota kā stāsta turpinājums gleznai, kas attēlo brikšņos nozudušus dārza rūķus, no sērijas “Nenotikušās izstādes: Brikšņi”, kā arī pirms dažām nedēļām veidotajai instalācijai “NOZUDUŠIE II”, kas permanenti apskatāma aizaugušajā mājā uz Annenieku ūdenskrātuves. Nav zināms, vai rūķi nozuduši paši vai tie nozaudēti.

Ekspozīcijā pārdomāju dārza rūķu tiesības, cerot, ka mana mākslinieciskā iecere nevienu no tiem neaizvainos un nesaņemšu aizrādījumus no kādas no daudzajām dārza rūķu aizsardzības institūcijām (Dārza rūķu aizsardzības asociācijas, Dārza rūķu aizsardzības apvienības vai Starptautiskās dārza rūķu aizsardzības asociācijas).

Ar gnomingu – dārza rūķu izzagšanu no to īpašnieku mājām vai dārziem un to atgriešanu “mežonīgajā dabā”, tādējādi tos atbrīvojot, - esmu nodarbojusies tikai daļēji. Aizaugušajā mājā nozudušais dārza rūķis nav ticis nozagts, bet gan iegādāts Depo veikalā. Atbrīvots, un tagad noskatās garām braucošajās mašīnās, kas viena aiz otras, steidzīgi vai nesteidzīgi slīd pa nesen atjaunoto Liepājas šoseju. Bet ļoti iespējams, ka tas nozudis un atrodas jau kur citur. Vientuļnieki dārza rūķi pieprasa īpašu vērību.

Dārza rūķis dzīvojot aptuveni 350 līdz 500 gadu, savu briedumu līdzīgi kā cilvēks sasniedzot 40 gadu vecumā. Izrādās, ka ne rūķu veģetārismā balstītā diēta, pārtikā uzņemot lielākoties dārzā pieejamos labumus, ir tā, kas nodrošina šo bagātīgiem gadiem apveltīto rūķa mūžu, bet gan tieši maģiskās spējas, kas tiem nenoliedzami piemīt.

Sandra ierasti veido glezniecībā balstītas lielformāta instalācijas, kas skatītāju kā lēnā kino ved no viena stāsta pie nākamā. Izstāde “NOZUDUŠIE II” ir eksperimentāla mākslinieces garā, gleznieciskā stāsta atkāpe, pievēršoties viena varoņa – dārza rūķa – ikdienas, labklājības un tiesību humoristiskām interpretācijām.

Izstāde būs pastāvīgi apskatāma, ieeja bez maksas.

Kā arī 31. augustā būs atvērtā durvju diena Irinas Krilo mozaīkas darbnīcā Kabinetto Mosaic Studio.

The installation is created as a continuation of the story of the painting depicting garden gnomes lost in the thickets, from the series "Exhibitions that did not take place: Thickets", as well as the installation "THE LOST II", created a few weeks ago, which is permanently displayed in the overgrown house on the Annenieki reservoir. It is not known if the dwarves disappeared on their own or if they were lost.

In the exhibition, I reflected on the rights of garden gnomes, hoping that my artistic design will not offend any of them and I will not receive reprimands from one of the many garden gnome protection institutions (Garden Gnome Protection Association, Garden Gnome Protection Association or International Garden Gnome Protection Association).

I have only partially dealt with gnoming - stealing garden gnomes from their owners' houses or gardens and returning them to the "wild nature", thus freeing them. The garden gnome lost in the overgrown house was not stolen, but bought at the Depot store. Released, and now looks at the passing cars, which one after the other, hurrying or leisurely, slide along the recently renovated Liepāja highway. But it is very likely that it has disappeared and is already somewhere else. Hermit garden gnomes require special attention.

A garden gnome lives approximately 350 to 500 years, reaching maturity at the age of 40, similar to a human. It turns out that it's not the dwarves' vegetarian diet of mostly garden goodness that provides these dwarves with many years of life, but rather the magical powers they undeniably possess.

Sandra usually creates large-format installations based on painting, which lead the viewer from one story to the next like a slow cinema. The exhibition "THE LOST II" is an experimental departure from the long, pictorial story of the artist, focusing on the humorous interpretations of everyday life, well-being and rights of one character - the garden gnome.

The exhibition will be on permanent display, admission is free.
