LV: Jāņa Pauļuka gleznu izstāde [Izstādes atklāšana] [Tūre ar kuratoru pēc pieprasījuma] 

No 15. aprīļa mākslas galerijā Jēkabs būs aplūkojama Jāņa Pauļuka (1906 - 1984) gleznu izstāde. Krāsa līnija un faktūra ir nozīmīgākie izteiksmes līdzekļi Pauļuka daiļradē. Ar to palīdzību viņš ir izkopis sev raksturīgo glezniecības rokrakstu, ko nevar sajaukt ne ar vienu citu latviešu mākslinieku. Savukārt gleznu ekspresīvā daba sasaucas ar mākslinieka paša personību, par ko mākslas cienītāju aprindās zināms ne viens vien skandalozs stāsts.

Izstādē būs aplūkojamas 20 mākslinieka gleznas, kas tematiskā ziņā aptver viņa iemīļotākos sižetus - saules un jūras peldes vasaras tveicē, atpūtniekus parkā, pilsētas kņadu un lauku rimto ikdienu.

From April 15 Jekabs art gallery will host an exhibition of paintings by Jānis Pauļuks (1906 - 1984) in April. Color, line and texture are the most important means of expression in Pauluk's art. With their help, he has cultivated his characteristic painting style, which cannot be confused with any other Latvian artist. On the other hand, the expressive nature of the paintings resonates with the artist's own personality, about which not one scandalous story is known in the circles of art lovers.

The exhibition will feature 20 of the artist's paintings, which thematically cover his favorite scenes - sun and sea bathing in the summer steam, vacationers in the park, the hustle and bustle of the city and the calm everyday life of the countryside.
